Random Short Story :)

The bench wobbled back and forth letting him slide of the edge and onto the pavement. The shopkeeper stared down at him. Then he yelled, “Don’t break my chairs boy!”
“Sorry, I just sat down and it broke.” He apologized, embarrassed
“Then lose some weight!” the shopkeeper yelled back. The boys face felt like it was on fire from the embarrassment. He stood back up and brushed himself off- even if there wasn’t really any dirt on him. He cautiously put his hand in his pocket and search around. He grabbed the money and placed it on the table when the shopkeeper’s back was turned. He turned right around and hurried out of the shop.
He ran the whole way home embarrassed of what had just happened. Why do the embarrassing things happen whenever she shows her face? His face slowly turned back to its original shade while he was overlooking the events. He should have said something instead of freaking out.
----------------------------------2 hours before------------------------------------------
The sun was shining down in an unusual way. He stared up and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He turned around to find his mother doing the same thing. “Can I take a break?” He asked politely, desperately needing a drink of water. “Yeah. Let’s just be done for the day.” She looked very tired as well. The garden was fighting back and the temperature was increasing rapidly.
He walked carefully inside his home and ran towards the faucet.  After pulling out a cup from the nearest cupboard and placing the cup under the running faucet, he watched as the water slowly filled up. Once it was full, he took a big gulp. It felt amazing as the ice cold water slipped down his dry throat.  It carelessly dropped the cup into the sink and dragged his feet into the bathroom.
After the delicious cold shower, he dressed and found his cell phone waiting with ten unread messages. “I feel popular” he joked as he read through the messages. It was nothing really important, so he put the phone in his pocket and walked outside.
Boredom crept on him and he wanted to escape before his mother could order him to do another chore. He turned back to the house and yelled inside, “I’m going out. I’ll be back in an hour or two.” He distantly heard his mother's reply, “Sure alright, I don’t care.” He silently rewarded himself and down to his way to his car.
His normal route to the town was blocked by the unusual traffic. While stopped behind several cars he noticed in the distance that there was a severe car crash that happened earlier. Several police cars and ambulances were scattered about the horrific scene. It gave him a sick feeling in the pit of this stomach.
Once the cars began moving he was driving closer to the scene. He turned his head away; he can’t stand the sight of blood and death.
-----------------------Flashback---------------------------
“Hey! Do you want to come see a movie with us?” A very beautiful girl asked with her friends on the bench. He was with three of his friends. All boys. These girls wanted to see a movie with them! His friend was looking at him for what to answer. No girls have ever wanted to hang out with THEM!
Without thinking what it would mean, he asked “depends on what movie?”
“That newest horror movie - The House”
His friends knew what was happening next and they laughed at the result. He turned back and mumbled, “sorry. You guys can go without me.” His friends burst into laughter.
“Scared of a little blood Tan Tan?” They provoked.
“...no...” He lied
“It’s okay.” The beautiful girl smiled, “Can we talk later? Text me.”
“I don’t have your number.” He blurted out
“Here.” She took his phone gently from his hands and played with it a moment, obviously putting in her number. She handed it back to him with a smile. He took it from her staring in awe; unable to say anything.
“Let’s go!” One of her friends tugged on her sleeve.
“Okay.” The beautiful girl waved goodbye and walked away with his friends.

She had texted him after the movie. They texted each other for hours. He told her of his fears of death after his father died painfully in front of him. She shared a similar experience. They became best friends. A week after meeting each other, she got into a car crash and died instantly. She was already the best friend he’d ever had. Now, he couldn’t even read the news. It was all too close; and that was two months ago.
He drove away quickly. He found a local store and popular restaurant. It was his favorite place on a day like this. After parking the car as close to the store as he could, he jumped out and walked into the building. The building was divided into two areas by the same company and business. The right side was a cafe and the other was a traditional store that sold your basic items. The cafe was styled unlike any other restaurant around town. It was vintage with a red piano at the back. No one played for pay, just for fun and to show their talents. The old styled bar sat in the back and was for every age. The red, ripped up, booths edged the square room The passageway to the kitchens held a set of swinging doors on each side. entrance and exit. in the middle of the cafe were elegant red and white checkered tables with two curly white chairs on each side. Beautiful flowers were placed on the windows and the place smelled like orange ice cream.
This was every girl's favorite hang out place. You’d think that no guy would ever walk in there. That is a lie - it's a popular hangout place for the guys, because of the girls. He walked in and headed straight to the back bar. He carefully sat in one of the wobbly chairs and looks around behind him. He glanced around at familiar faces but panicked when a extremely gorgeous face peaked its head over one of the booths. He turned around suddenly as the store keeper came up to him from the other side of the counter. The sudden and panicked movement sent the easily broken chair, rocking back and forth.

The girl. She had recently stolen his heart. With the habit of tucking her hair behind her ears, to the blush of her cheeks whenever the teacher asked her a question. He hadn’t ever talked to her. She was extremely shy and tried to run away from any sign of communication. He watched her occasionally and noticed little things about her that he was she she didn’t even know. He was beginning to make her nervous whenever she showed her face. He’d go hot and start shaking - it was uncontrollable. Little moments like those would roll around in his head for hours; full of regret.
